Ashley Michio-Burch

My name is Ashley Michio-Burch and I have been a resident of Marlton Lakes since 2015. In 2019, I moved from my home on Bass Road to our new home on Hickory Road, so I am equally committed to both sides of our community. I love this community so much that when our old home ran out of space, the only option for our family was another home in Marlton Lakes. I live here with my husband John and our three sons Johnny, Christopher and Rico. Not only do I love where we live but I am dedicated to maintaining and improving our incredible community if I am elected. In my opinion, there is no better place to live and raise my family.

My full-time job is in mortgage lending sales. I have the pleasure of making dreams come true while diving into almost every personal and private aspect of someone’s life. I have the ability to gain trust and help each person make the biggest financial decision of their lives. I’ve had the opportunity of helping many of our neighbors move here that have turned into great friends. I know what this community offers for each person/family and want to bring nothing but happiness, security, and trust to every resident. I am well versed in contracts, dealing with multiple parties towards a common goal, solutions and negotiating. I have built a solid business from the ground up based on honesty, integrity, dedication, and my strive for excellence. I take pride in everything that I do: parenting, my career, running a home, cooking, baking, friendships, and relationships. I know what I can bring to the table for our community and will do everything in my power to make sure every voice is not only heard but also represented.

I know the past two years in Marlton Lakes have been difficult for many. I know there are things that need to change. I know there are things that have improved. I know there is still a lot to do. I know there are questions that aren’t asked or haven’t been answered. My goal is to make this community one we are all proud to call home.

Stephen M Pogust

My work life had two major components, first as a newspaper reporter and editor and second as a mental-health counselor after I earned the required graduate degrees.

In retirement, I've volunteered with several agencies, including a nursing home, the Veterans Administration and Samaritan Hospice, while striving to develop my spiritual life: I now know that we're never too old to learn. I now know that our potential as humans is unlimited. I now know that every voice and every perspective deserves to be heard. I now know that any conflict can be surmounted by a common desire to do what's best for our community.

I've been a resident since 1988 and a trustee since 2018.

Beyond our primary mandate as trustees--preparing budgets, maintaining our common grounds, paying bills, etc., is our learning how to harmonize as a group of nine so we can make the best use of our varied talents and perspectives. That's the subjective "how" of how we conduct business which, to my mind, directly affects the concrete "what" of what we can accomplish.

As a senior, I also have a personal understanding of the challenges and opportunities which are an inevitable part of the aging process.

My decision to seek re-election was based on a perceived obligation to try to maintain a truly representative government: I've been the oldest senior on the board since I joined, and seniors are now a fast growing part of Marlton Lakes.

Thanks for your consideration.

Stephen

Zak Raab

My name is Zak Raab, and I have lived in this fantastic neighborhood since 2012. When I first bought this home, I knew the views and sense of community could be unmatched by any neighborhood around. Since moving in, this neighbor has expanded much as my family has. I am now a father to a 1-year-old named Estie. My wife Megan and I wholeheartedly love this neighborhood and everything it has to offer. However, I feel that this neighborhood could flourish even more with proper governance. My diverse finance, business, and emergency services background would allow me to be a more versatile board member to consider.

I currently have an MBA in Finance and Six Sigma Black Belt certification. In addition to multiple certificates, both operational and instructing level, in Emergency Services.

Fallon Snider

I’m sure some of you know me as the food truck person in the neighborhood and some know me as the crazy lady who rakes the lake for hours. Either way I hope it shows that I want to do all I can for this neighborhood. I plan on living here for a long time and I want the lake and neighborhood to stay an awesome place to live. I feel as though the last couple of years there has been a lot of unanswered questions or reasons for why things are all of the sudden the way they are. I want to help keep transparency and accountable between the neighborhood, board and management company. I know I won’t have all the answers but I will do my best to help in any way I can including breaking a sweat helping out with lake cleanup, landscaping etc… I am excited to hopefully become a board member.

John Trotto

I have lived in the Lakes for a little over 5 years now with my wife and two young children. I have a background in construction, engineering and real estate. Now that our youngest is a little older, I have time to be more involved in the community. I have heard the issues that are important to the all of us residents, and I share many of the same sentiments. I feel we need a stronger voice so our issues are properly addressed. I can be that voice. I served on my previous HOA for over three years prior to moving here, and I know how to get the wheels moving in the right direction. I look forward to the opportunity to help keep our neighborhood a great place for everyone to call home.
